
Melinda Lewis, CFS graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Oregon, Lindquist College of Business and immediately began her career as a financial adviser. Melinda has over 33 years of experience serving the needs of governmental employees and is highly adept at discussing the benefits of a 457(b) Deferred Compensation Retirement Plan and its interaction with the various tiers of the Oregon PERS system as part of her financial planning practice. Melinda’s experience and knowledge of the Oregon PERS system has been an invaluable resource for the employees of the City of Portland, Multnomah County, and City of Gresham employer plans. For her groups she provides employee seminars for new hires and retirement readiness, committee education, and marketing outreach campaigns.
Melinda is an adviser who prides herself on putting her client’s needs first. She takes the time to listen and understand her client’s goals and provide a roadmap for their retirement success. In her partnership with Voya, a full-service broker dealer, she provides a broad spectrum of planning and investment solutions. Her knowledge and experience has provided retirement planning assistance to thousands of clients in her 33 years of business.
Melinda is a Financial Adviser and holds the FINRA Series 7, 24, 63 and 65 securities registrations as well as the Oregon Life, Health and Variable Annuity license. In addition, she holds the Certified Fund Specialist (CFS) designation.
Melinda is a native Oregonian and lives in the Portland area. She has one daughter, a recent fourth-generation Duck graduate. She loves traveling, enjoying the outdoors, cooking and spending time with family and friends. Melinda is also active in her community and serves as the President for the board of Christmas for Kids, a local non- profit charity that provides winter clothing to hundreds of needy children each year.
