Dan Gregory

Dan grew up in Tigard, Oregon and joined the Navy after graduating from Tigerd High School at 17. He served 20 years as a cryptologist for the Naval Security Group, also becoming a "Master Training Specialist" and teaching satellite communication systems. Dan volunteered for the Navy's "Command Financial Specialist" program, providing financial workshops and counseling.

After retiring from the Navy, he worked as a Certified Credit Counselor and joined Oregon PERS in 2000. Over 17 years, Dan delivered thousands of workshops and retirement sessions across Oregon. He advanced to "Senior Retirement Specialist" and led the award-winning Member Information Center. His team earned PERS "Team of the Year" and a national call-center award in 2022. Dan also received Oregon's "Ambassador of Public Service" award in 2019.

Since retiring in 2024, Dan works with the Lewis Stefani group as a consultant, trainer, and presenter for PERS topics.
