Jay moved to Portland in the spring of 2016. Originally from San Diego, he left all that perfect weather behind to head up north and raise a family with the love of his life. He’s always had a passion for helping others, and once had job with a non-profit assisting adult with disabilities. That passion has translated to his work with our clients, especially in their times of need. To him, there’s nothing better than the feeling you get when you know you’ve made a difference in someone’s life.
After graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Communications from CSU Monterey Bay in 2004, Jay went on to work many different jobs before eventually finding his match in financial services. He’s been a licensed representative going on 8 years now, and is series 6, 63, and 65 securities registered.
In his spare time, Jay loves to go fishing, camping, and generally enjoys the beauty of the outdoors. He’s also an avid foodie and is obsessed with the Portland food scene. Strangely enough for a SoCal native, this man loves a good storm and prays for snow each year. I guess the lush green of Portland in the summer is worth all that rain.
